How far away are we from Google announcing a web-based, Refworks style citation manager? 6 months? A year? Heck, they should just buy Refworks...

And if they released it free and got rid of the annoying group code thing (can't access my account outside my university: email support but its still the weekend) then not only would google control my email (gmail account), my news (googlenews.beta) and my search both online and offlien (google desktop), my random picture imports (via picasa which they bought, with ability to post to blogger, which they bought), then they pretty much would control all my 'scholarly activities' as well.
